Kinecard · last updated 8 September 2026
Your videos, images and audio never leave your computer. Kinecard edits and renders entirely in your browser. There is no upload step, no render queue, and no copy of your work on our servers — not because we delete it, but because we never receive it.
What we store
Only if you create an account. Without one, we hold nothing that identifies you.
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Your Google account id, email and display name | So you can sign in, and so the app can show whose account it is |
| A referral code | Goes on the end of your share links |
| Your points, and which day each was earned | The rewards scheme. Stored as individual entries so a total can be explained |
| Your Lemon Squeezy customer id and subscription end date | To know whether Pro is active. We never see or store card details |
| Which referral link you first arrived on, if any | So whoever introduced you can be credited |
Cookies
Two, both strictly functional. No advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers.
kc_s— your sign-in session. Set only when you sign in.kc_v— a random id for this browser, so points earned before you make an account can be kept and moved onto it when you do.
Clearing your cookies signs you out and discards any points not yet attached to an account.
Who else your browser talks to
Kinecard has no servers doing the work, but your browser does contact these directly. We do not send them your media.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and our small database. They also count page views for us, without cookies and without identifying anyone: we learn that a page was visited, not who visited it. There is no profile of you, and nothing is shared with anybody.
- Google — only if you sign in. We request your name, email address and account id, and nothing else. We cannot see your Google password, your Drive, or your YouTube channel.
- Lemon Squeezy — only if you subscribe. They are the merchant of record: the legal seller, and the ones who take the payment. Card details go to them directly and never pass through us.
- Remotion — the rendering library Kinecard is built on sends its makers a one-line licence ping when an export runs: that a render happened on this site and whether it succeeded. No part of your video, your account or your transcript is in it, and an export completes normally with the request blocked.
- Nobody else. The speech-recognition model used to be fetched from Hugging Face; it is now served from our own storage, so transcribing contacts no third party at all. Your audio never leaves your machine either way — the model comes to you and runs there.
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no selling or sharing of personal data.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking, and no third-party analytics.
- No access to your files beyond the browser tab you opened them in.
- No training of any model on your content.
Your choices
Email support@kinecard.com to get a copy of your data or to delete your account. Deleting removes your account row, your sessions and your points. It cannot recover a subscription already paid — cancel that first from the link on your Lemon Squeezy receipt, or ask and we will do it.
Children
Kinecard is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that affects what we store or who we share it with, the date at the top changes and we will say so in the app.
